ANTENNA’s consortium met for the project’s second Annual General Meeting

The 2nd Annual General Meeting of the ANTENNA project took place on 11 to 12 December 2025 at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, The Netherlands. Project partners met in a hybrid format to review ongoing work, share technical progress, and coordinate upcoming activities across the consortium.

The first day focused on detailed updates from Work Packages 1 and 2. Sessions addressed stakeholder needs, innovative approaches for pollinator monitoring, and methodological developments including DNA barcoding and the MiniMon system. Partners also reviewed results from current field tests, discussed planning for the 2026 field season, and explored topics such as drone applications, cost benefit assessments, and stakeholder feedback. The programme included a guided tour of the Naturalis laboratories and collections, offering insight into the scientific infrastructure supporting the project, and concluded with a public presentation of ANTENNA and related initiatives at Naturalis.

On the second day, discussions continued with a focus on consolidating outcomes from the previous sessions, aligning priorities across tasks, and agreeing on next steps for project implementation. The agenda supported in depth technical exchange and strategic coordination, reinforcing collaboration and ensuring a shared understanding of the project’s direction for the coming period.
