From ANTENNA, we are pleased to announce the release of a new instructional video designed to support users of the DIOPSIS 2.0 Insect Camera. This comprehensive guide offers step-by-step instruction on the installation, configuration, and optimal use of the DIOPSIS system, enabling both new and experienced users to effectively implement this monitoring tool in their fieldwork or research environments.
The DIOPSIS 2.0 Insect Camera is an innovative, fully automated system designed for the detection, monitoring, and documentation of insect populations. Operating continuously throughout the insect season, the system captures high-resolution images, which are then transmitted to a central server via 4G or Wi-Fi. For users operating in remote locations or under specific data management protocols, manual image upload is also supported.
Captured images can be processed using the insect image recognition model developed by Naturalis, or users may opt to apply their own image recognition software, depending on their research objectives.
The instructional video has been developed to enhance user experience, ensure accurate data collection, and streamline onboarding for research teams across disciplines. We encourage all current and prospective users to review the video to ensure they are utilising the DIOPSIS 2.0 system to its full potential.
